Ceremonial Team

The Medicine Hat Police Service Ceremonial Team began representing the Service in the early to mid 1990’s. The Ceremonial Team currently operates with 15 members of various ranks.

Ceremonial Team members wear a distinct uniform. Some of the most identifiable characteristics are the pants or breaches, and the “high blacks” or knee high black boots. Team members also wear a black Stetson cowboy hat during Stampede events.

The Ceremonial Team supports the Service by representing its members, in a formal capacity, at various community events inside and outside the City of Medicine Hat. Some of the events include: the Stampede Parade, Remembrance Day Ceremonies, the Annual Regimental Parade, Medicine Hat Police Service funerals as well as other outside agency events.

Ceremonial Team members are proud and honored to support and represent the Medicine Hat Police Service in this capacity.
