On November 8, 2020, at approximately 5:57 PM a Medicine Hat resident reported that his company vehicle had been stolen from a shop in the light industrial area of the city.

On November 9, 2020, at approximately 1:37 AM MHPS patrol members observed this stolen vehicle being operated in the 900 block of South Railway Street SE. A high risk vehicle stop was initiated and two female occupants were taken into custody without incident.

The 38-year-old female driver in custody facing charges of Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000 and Possession of Fentanyl. 28-year-old female passenger is currently in custody facing charges of Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Identity documents, and Bail Violations. Both subjects are awaiting Judicial Interim Release hearings.
